Preventive Care

Preventive care is the practice of caring for your teeth to keep them healthy. This helps to avoid cavities, gum disease, enamel wear, and more. There are many forms of preventive care, such as daily brushing and dental cleanings. To maintain optimal oral health, the American Dental Association (ADA) recommends visits to the dentist at regular intervals determined by a dentist. These practices are designed to ensure that teeth are clean, strong, and white. Children should be taught proper oral hygiene at an early age.

One Visit Root Canal Therapy

Thanks to the newest laser and rotary instrumentation, root canal therapy can be completed in a single visit. New techniques have greatly reduced the time needed to perform a root canal, and also greatly limited the potential for discomfort. The term"root canal" comes from cleaning of the canals inside a tooth's root. Decades ago, root canal treatments often were unpleasant. With dental advances and local anesthetics, 98% of people have no discomfort with a root canal. In fact, it's probably more painful living with a decayed tooth

Tooth-Colored Fillings

A composite tooth filling, typically called tooth colored fillings, offer a few advantages over an amalgam filling. Tooth-colored fillings can actually strengthen decayed teeth. They can also be shaded to match the color of a person's existing teeth, making it much less visible. As more people want natural-looking smiles, composite fillings have become increasingly popular.

Painless Laser Dentistry

Using the Waterlase™ makes our office unique. Waterlase is a safe and gentle alternative to traditional dental tools. Using laser and water spray, Waterlase can perform many procedures without a shot or a drill. The WaterLase for gum procedures can reduce bleeding, post-operative discomfort, swelling and the need for pain medication in many cases. Since you often do not need shots or anesthesia, cavity preps can be performed in all areas of the mouth in just one visit!

Missing Teeth Replacement Options

Because looking good and feeling good are important to us all, it is wise to maintain a healthy and attractive smile throughout life. Fortunately, missing teeth can be replaced, and they should be. Our office offers several options depending on your needs and the best way to meet them-implants, bridges, fixed partial dentures, and removable partial dentures.

Oral Sedation Dentistry

Oral sedation is a popular treatment option for many people because it does not require injection, so if you're afraid of “needles,” you needn't worry. Several medications are available to help create more relaxed, comfortable dental visits. Some drugs control pain, some help you relax, and others put you into a deep sleep during dental treatment.

Cosmetic Dentistry

Smile enhancement can have dramatic results on your overall appearance; even the smallest step can boost your confidence, self-esteem, and make you want to smile more. With modern advances in dentistry, cosmetic procedures can range from a basic color correction to replacing missing teeth, and everything in between. Starting with healthy teeth and gums, we can perfect your smile through porcelain or ceramic restorations, veneers, teeth whitening, bonding, and other state-of- the-art treatments.
